The winner of the Ukrainian cooking show "MasterChef," Yevhen Klopotenko, shared how to make delicious cookies to delight your loved ones.

This recipe is straightforward and won't pose any difficulties. All you need to do is finely chop the oatmeal using any convenient method, and then mix it with the remaining ingredients, notes "MasterChef" Klopotenko.

Ingredients (for 20 pieces):

  • 100 g oatmeal
  • 170 g flour
  • 100 g peanuts
  • 2 eggs
  • 200 g butter
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 150 g sugar
  • ½ tsp salt

Preparation

First, preheat the oven to 180 degrees, measure out 100 g of oatmeal, and chop it finely. You can use a blender or a rolling pin; employ any method that works best for you, advises "MasterChef" Klopotenko.

Transfer the chopped oatmeal to a large bowl. Add the flour and half a teaspoon of salt. Mix well.

In a small bowl, neutralize 1 teaspoon of baking soda with 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and incorporate this mixture into the dough. Now add 150 g of sugar, 200 g of softened butter, and 100 g of peanuts. Mix thoroughly.

"MasterChef" Klopotenko adds that you should then crack two eggs into the dough and mix the mass well with your hands until all lumps and unevenness disappear.

Form the dough into 20 small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Leave space between the balls, as they will spread a little during baking, pointed out "MasterChef" Klopotenko.

Bake the cookies in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 25 minutes. Afterward, do not rush to remove the treats from the parchment, as they are very fragile; let them cool down first.
