On the night of January 24 to 25, Russian occupation forces launched "Shahed" drones over Ukrainian territory, resulting in damage to a 9-story building in the Kyiv region. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
"As a result of the enemy attack, a 9-story residential building in one of the settlements in the region was damaged. Balconies on the 4th to 8th floors were destroyed, and window frames were shattered. In one of the entrances, the ceiling of the stairwell collapsed," the statement said.
The Kyiv Regional Military Administration clarified that all emergency services are already working at the scene.
"Inspections of the entrances and the dismantling of damaged structures are underway. The new building is partially occupied," the press service noted.
Furthermore, in another area, a fire broke out at a manufacturing facility covering 600 square meters due to falling debris from a downed target.
"The fire has been extinguished," the Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported.
It is noteworthy that around three in the morning, media reported explosions, although specifically in Kyiv.
At the time of publication, there was no information regarding casualties resulting from the Russian attack.
