On the night of February 15 to 16, Russian occupation forces struck Mykolaiv with "Shaheds," resulting in damage to civilian and infrastructure facilities in the city. This was reported by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Kim.
"In Mykolaiv, as a result of the Shahed attack, a fire broke out, and there are damages to a store," Kim wrote.
He specified that, at the moment, one person is known to have been injured.
Meanwhile, in the monitoring Telegram channel "Mykolaiv Vanek," it was reported that one of the "Shahed" strikes occurred on Central Avenue.
"There are fires and damages to various infrastructure and civilian objects," the message states.
Detailed information about the destruction and injuries resulting from the enemy attack is promised to be provided on the morning of February 16.
It should be noted that the first explosions in the city were heard around midnight.
Recall that on the night of February 14, a Russian drone struck the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, resulting in a fire in the sarcophagus that protects the world from radiation.
