Information regarding the capture of Sotnitsky Kazachok by Russian military forces has not been confirmed, stated Viktor Kovalenko, the head of the Zolochiv village military administration, in a comment to the local publication “Zorya”.
Kovalenko noted that he received information from the commanders of the units defending the Zolochiv region.
“Sotnitsky Kazachok is under the control of Ukrainian forces. Moreover, there are currently no active assault operations taking place there. Only shelling, which has unfortunately become a routine occurrence for us,” Zorya reported, citing Kovalenko's statements.
Earlier during the night, the DeepState analytical group updated the combat operations map in Ukraine, claiming the Russian occupation of the village of Sotnitsky Kazachok in the Kharkiv region.
It is worth recalling that last summer, the Russian army attempted to breach the state border in this area and temporarily secured a foothold in the village of Sotnitsky Kazachok, which had previously been considered a "gray zone." On August 14, the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleg Synegubov, reported that the invaders had withdrawn from the village.
