Synegubov also stated that around 10 a.m. on February 1, a ‘Shahed’ struck the Donetsk community, specifically the village of Donetsk.

“Windows were shattered in a civilian dormitory. Private residences were damaged, and our teams are currently on-site. Additionally, we experienced strikes and shelling in border settlements in the Kharkiv region,” the head of the regional administration specified.

He noted that the nature of strikes in the Kharkiv region has changed recently.

“Initially, the primary attacks involved guided aerial bombs. Now they have transitioned more widely to ‘Shaheds’ and drones, FPV types ‘Lightning-1’ and ‘Lightning-2’. Our armed forces are doing everything possible to protect the airspace over Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region,” Synegubov assured.
