At around 4:30 AM on January 26, a Shahed drone crashed in the Osnovyansky district of Kharkiv, causing damage to private homes.

Updated at 12:02. The aftermath was reported by the regional prosecutor's office. According to the investigation, the strike occurred around 4:30 AM. Facades were damaged and windows were shattered in six private residential houses. Additionally, outbuildings were also affected. A pre-trial investigation has been launched regarding the war crime (Part 1, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Updated at 10:35. Utility workers are addressing the consequences of the drone strike, informs the city administration. Specialists from JSC "Kharkivgorgaz" are inspecting the networks, while workers from the municipal enterprise "Kharkivspetsstroy" are sealing off the damaged houses. Furthermore, representatives from the district administration are on-site.

Updated at 8:35. The Shahed struck the Osnovyansky district at 4:43 AM, reported the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleg Synegubov. As a result of this strike, windows and roofs of 12 private homes were damaged. There were no casualties.

Due to the Russian attack, Kharkiv experienced issues with electricity and water supply. Around 4:00 PM, the Russian army launched the fourth strike of the day on the city using a "Molniya" type drone, targeting a garbage container in the Shevchenkivsky district.
