Russia attacked the Kharkiv region using "Shahed" drones and "Geran-2" drones: locations of the strikes.

The morning report for January 8 stated that the enemy had been periodically shelling the Kharkiv region the day before, as mentioned by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Administration, Oleg Synegubov.

Initially, the Bogodukhiv district came under fire. At 11:10 AM, a Russian drone fell in a field in the village of Mala Ivanivka.

In the afternoon, the head of the KhOVA clarified that the Izium district was also targeted.

“12:55 Izium district, Izium community, village of Sukha Kamyanka. A downed Shahed drone was found in the field. No information about casualties has been reported,” Synegubov wrote.

In the evening, the enemy attacked the Chuhuiv region – the Russian army also launched drones at the community.

“20:35 — 22:14 Chuhuiv district, Chuhuiv community, city of Chuhuiv. As a result of the shootdown, debris from a Geran-2 drone fell on the territory of one of the inactive enterprises,” the head of the KhOVA added.

No strikes on Kharkiv were recorded throughout the day.
