The head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleg Synegubov, summarized the difficult day in the region. There are casualties and injuries, with "arrivals" reported in Kharkiv, its nearby suburbs, and various districts of the region.
“Over the course of the day, the enemy launched 17 UAVs and six missiles at civilian people and infrastructure,” — stated Synegubov on the morning of February 1.
According to the head of the Regional State Administration, the most severe consequences of the shelling occurred in the Holodnohirskiy district of Kharkiv. There, a 60-year-old woman was killed by falling debris from a UAV. “The strike hit a private house, injuring four people: a 38-year-old man and women aged 64, 60, and 77. Two of them are in the hospital with blast injuries and burns.
Additionally, around seven in the morning, "Shaheds" targeted the suburbs and the Novovodolazhskiy district.
“On February 1, at 07:30, Kharkiv district, Malodanylivska TG, village of Cherkas'ka Lozova. As a result of the UAV "Shahed" shelling, a garage and two cars were on fire. On February 1, at 07:22, Kharkiv district, Novovodolazhska TG, village of Nova Vodolaha. Due to the fall of the UAV "Shahed," industrial structures were damaged,” — informed Synegubov.
A video of the fire in Cherkas'ka Lozova was published by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kharkiv region.
During the night, the Russian army shelled the village of Pisky-Rad'kovski in the Borivska community using MLRS. Throughout the entire day on January 31, the Kupiansk district was terrorized. An 84-year-old woman and a 46-year-old man were injured there.
Previously, the Main Directorate of National Police in Kharkiv region reported two missile strikes on Kharkiv region: on the villages of Kopanky and Hlazunivka in the Izium district. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
