On the night of October 12, the Defense Forces struck a fuel and lubricants depot of the Russians in the area of the city of Rovenky in occupied Luhansk, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This facility stored oil and petroleum products, which were supplied, among other things, for the needs of the occupiers' army.

A large-scale fire broke out on the site. The results of the strike are being clarified.

The operation was carried out by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in coordination with other components of the Defense Forces.

Previously, the oil depot in Rovenky had already been targeted by Ukrainian weaponry.

Russian sources reported a drone attack on temporarily occupied Luhansk and the Rostov region of the Russian Federation during the night. The fire in Rovenky, near the tankers, was also detected by NASA's FIRMS fire monitoring system.
