In 2024, "BaDM" initiated the construction of robotic logistics centers in 5 regions of Ukraine: Kyiv region, Odesa, Vinnytsia, Poltava, and Ivano-Frankivsk. Upon project completion, the company will double its pharmacy warehouse resources – the total area across the country will reach 120,000 sq. m.
The company offers a wide range of job vacancies: assemblers, loaders, packers, project managers, engineers, economists, accountants, and other specialists.
"At 'BaDM', we effectively implement a training program. For positions in the pharmacy warehouses and office, we can accept candidates without prior experience. Following a clear algorithm, the company trains individuals for new professions. For students and graduates, this is a great opportunity to secure their first official job," — shares Serhiy Shcherbakov, regional director of the Southern region of LLC 'BaDM'.
Being a leader means being a responsible employer
Today, nearly 3,000 employees of the company ensure the uninterrupted operation of 10 regional divisions in the largest cities of Ukraine. Every second employee has been with the company for over three years – that’s more than 50% of the entire team. Daily, 'BaDM' employees play a vital role: providing Ukrainians with quality medical products.
7Salary increases at 'BaDM' occur regularly. In 2023, salaries for employees at all levels rose by an average of 20%. 30 years in the pharmaceutical market: significant achievements
The company was founded in 1994, at a time when the pharmaceutical distribution industry was just beginning to take its first steps in the Ukrainian market. In 2024, 'BaDM' celebrated 30 years of professional journey.
Since 2012, 'BaDM' pharmacy warehouses have successfully confirmed compliance with international distribution requirements and GDP certification. Today, the distribution is supported by European-standard pharmacy warehouses with a total area of 60,000 sq. m across Ukraine.
8'BaDM' is one of the largest taxpayers in the pharmaceutical sector of Ukraine. 2.2 billion hryvnias in taxes and fees have been paid to the state budget for 9 months of 2024. This figure is 35% higher compared to the tax amount paid in the same period of 2023.
The company has been recognized multiple times as the winner of the national competition "Panacea" in the "Distributor of the Year" category. In 2023, 'BaDM' received the "PharmFront" award, symbolizing resilience during the full-scale invasion.
Innovation as a component of scaling
'BaDM' continually invests in optimizing business processes. This provides significant advantages for supplying guaranteed quality medical products to the most remote areas and towns of the country.
In 'BaDM' logistics centers, maximum automation is being implemented. The use of modern technologies, such as GoodToPerson, significantly accelerates the order formation and distribution process – aiming to efficiently supply millions of consumers with the necessary range of medications.
9 0The director of distribution logistics, Oksana Herzan, notes: "Increasing 'BaDM's operational efficiency is a continuous process of reviewing and improving all business processes. The company is implementing modern technologies throughout the supply chain: from identifying the need for products to delivering orders to customers."
The reliability of 'BaDM's service amidst the war
45% of the company's warehouse capacities were lost in the initial weeks and months of the full-scale invasion.
However, under extremely challenging conditions, the company has upheld all its obligations to partners and clients. Division leaders and office staff, together with pharmacy warehouse employees, formed orders and ensured timely and complete delivery of medicines to the regions.
Despite the risks, 'BaDM' continues to invest in recovery and development.
1As early as the first half of 2022, a new pharmacy warehouse was opened in the Kyiv region, replacing a completely destroyed logistics complex. Additional distribution centers were opened in Lviv and Vinnytsia.
In 2023, the structural unit in Kharkiv fully restored its operations after a forced hiatus. Crisis measures in the region were implemented, considering that the pharmacy warehouse in Poltava was destroyed by a Shahed drone attack. The company invested in new automated equipment for the Kharkiv unit to systematically supply medicines to the neighboring regions: Poltava, Sumy, and Donetsk.
In October 2024, the unit in Mykolaiv began operating at full capacity, aimed at efficiently supplying medicines to the Southern region.
2PharmSila and social responsibility
By diligently paying taxes, 'BaDM' provides systematic assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since the first days of the invasion, regular assistance with medicines has been established. In 2023, the company initiated the charitable project "PharmSila" in partnership with the charitable foundation "Optivita Ukraine," aiming to unite leading pharmacy networks, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and distributors to provide joint support to the Armed Forces.
Since the beginning of 2024, over 1,400 FPV drones, 35 vehicles and off-road minibuses, and 6 motorboats have been delivered, addressing many technical needs of military units in the hottest frontline areas.
3For 30 years, the pharmaceutical distributor 'BaDM' has been caring for the health of Ukrainians. The company provides its business partners with European-level service and supplies pharmacies and medical institutions across Ukraine with medical products.
The acting General Director of LLC 'BaDM', Dmytro Babenko, emphasizes: "The goal of 'BaDM' is the continuous development of the pharmaceutical distribution market to meet the needs for medical products of millions of people in all regions of Ukraine."
