Terekhova: In December, Russians damaged 115 houses and broke over a thousand windows.

The Mayor of Kharkiv, Igor Terekhov, published data on the results of enemy shelling for December.

The city leader noted that in December, the city experienced fewer shelling incidents compared to previous months. However, it cannot be described as calm.

“Not a single month goes by without damage to residential buildings. 115 houses have been affected — a painful reminder that the war continues for Kharkiv,” Terekhov wrote.

Additionally, during December, 892 windows in apartments were shattered due to Russian shelling, along with 343 in communal areas, and 38 roofs and 37 balconies were damaged.

“Yet, even under these conditions, we witness the solidarity of our utility services and the entire community: 100% of windows and balconies are closed, 82% of roofs have already been repaired, and this is a real example of how Kharkiv is fighting for its recovery and future, despite all the challenges,” the mayor added.
