Mayor Igor Terekhov informed during a national marathon about the consequences of yesterday's shelling in Kharkiv.
According to him, ten individuals who were affected by the strike in the city center are still in hospitals. This includes employees and visitors of the CPAU.
“Today, we continue working on sealing the areas because 41 residential buildings were damaged, which amounts to approximately 750 windows that have been completely shattered. We have already completed 85% of the work, but we will keep going. This is the task at hand today. Additionally, we have restored electricity, water supply, gas supply, and heating in all residential and office buildings,” the mayor added.
Let us remind you that a S-400 missile struck near the CPAU in the Kyiv district in the center of Kharkiv. The explosion occurred without an air raid alert at half past eight in the morning, just as the CPAU staff had arrived for work. Twenty-five people were injured, with 14 requiring hospitalization. According to Mayor Igor Terekhov, around 40 other structures and residential buildings were also damaged in addition to the CPAU building. As for the CPAU, the mayor assured that the institution will resume operations on November 26 — at a different location. According to the city council's press service, a mobile CPAU will operate on Svobody Street.
