In Cherkasy, participants of a large-scale drug cartel with a monthly profit exceeding 40 million hryvnias will be prosecuted. This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine.
Residents of Cherkasy region and the capital established a network of drug laboratories, producing approximately 80 kg of psychotropic substances each month. They engaged chemists, packagers, and distributors, creating a complete cycle of production and distribution of psychotropics on an industrial scale.

The gang members promoted and sold their products online. They distributed drugs using private logistics companies under fictitious identities and during face-to-face meetings with clients, conducting transactions hand-to-hand.

Police seized nearly 200 kg of drugs from the criminals, specifically: Alpha-PVP salts, amphetamines, mephedrone, cannabis, MDMA pills, and precursors worth over 30 million hryvnias.

From the seized precursors, over a million doses of psychotropics could have been produced. Additionally, laboratory equipment, weapons, ammunition, an RGD grenade with a fuse, more than 2.5 million hryvnias in various currencies, and 17 vehicles valued at over 800 thousand dollars were confiscated.
Members of the group face up to 12 years of imprisonment with asset confiscation.
