In New Orleans (USA), an SUV drove into a crowd of people celebrating the New Year. At least 10 individuals have died, and another 35 were injured.
The vehicle crashed into the crowd on Bourbon Street—a popular nightlife area. The incident was intentional.
Following the crash, gunfire erupted at the scene. The driver, identified as the shooter, injured two police officers and fled.
Later, he was shot by the police. Currently, there is no information available regarding his identity. Homemade explosive devices were discovered at the site of the attack.
