During the night, Russian terrorists attacked the Mykolaiv CHPP with "Shahed" drones, leaving 100 thousand subscribers in the city without heating.
The enemy damaged the electricity generation at the facility. Currently, the employees of "Mykolaiv CHPP" and "Mykolaivoblteploenergo" are working to establish alternative heating for residential buildings.
As a result of debris falling from the "Shaheds" and the impact of the shockwave, five apartment buildings were damaged. At least four stores, a food establishment, and office spaces also suffered damage.
This was reported by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Kim, during a broadcast of the national telethon "United News."
"Yes, this is already known. Currently, 46 thousand subscribers are without heating, but work is underway. We have two forecasts: optimistic and realistic. There is nothing bad. Water is currently being pumped, and our energy workers have managed to reconnect the CHPP. Therefore, according to our plans, we expect to resume heating within one to four days…
There are 176 apartment buildings facing this issue. We have deployed "Points of Resilience," and the State Emergency Service is bringing in warm air guns, but I believe we can manage without this and restore heating if there are no new strikes..
I am corrected that 100 thousand subscribers are currently disconnected, which is a third of the city," said Vitaliy Kim.
