The shelling of the Kharkiv region by the Russian army was commented on by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov, on the morning of February 20.
He reported that at 00:53, Russian troops struck the village of Myrne in the Berestiv district, damaging nine private homes. In the morning, at 04:00, there was already an attack on the Lozova district. In the village of Malynivka, a UAV damaged power lines.
On the eve of this, the enemy terrorized the Kupiansk region all day long. The first strike was recorded at 12:20 in Kupiansk, when an FPV drone hit. After lunch, the first casualties emerged, including fatalities due to the shelling.
“At 13:25, in the village of Olkhovatka, a 65-year-old man was injured as a result of enemy shelling by a UAV. At 15:10, in Kupiansk, houses were damaged due to a FAB-250 shelling. A 59-year-old man was killed. At 18:00, in Kupiansk, houses were damaged from a Grad multiple rocket launcher attack. A 59-year-old man was killed, and a 60-year-old woman was injured,” wrote Synegubov.
By 23:00, the number of injured due to the “hits” had increased again – a 47-year-old man was injured in Kupiansk.
