On January 26 in Kharkiv, friends and family said their final goodbyes to blogger Anna Zhuk, who tragically lost her life in a car accident on January 24. This was reported by the publication "Novosti. Live" on Telegram.
More than 100 people attended the farewell ceremony, held in one of Kharkiv's cathedrals, including relatives, friends, colleagues, and military personnel whom she assisted as a volunteer. Following the memorial service, Anna Zhuk was laid to rest at the cemetery, with her coffin draped in the flag of Ukraine.
Vladimir Bilevtsev, who was driving during the tragic accident, also came to pay his respects. According to witnesses, he struggled to stay on his feet and had a bandaged arm due to the injuries he sustained.
"She lived to help the military, bringing them joy every day. It's such a loss," said a representative of the Ukrainian sports club "Adrenalin."
Friends and acquaintances of the blogger remember her as a bright and kind person: "The best volunteer, the best mother, wife, and daughter," noted those present at the funeral.
It should be noted that the fatal accident occurred on the morning of January 24 on the Kyiv — Kharkiv — Dovzhansky highway. According to police reports, the drivers of a truck, an SUV, and a child born in 2015, who was in the Lexus vehicle, were injured. All were hospitalized with injuries at the Lubny hospital.
It is known that the SUV, in which the couple was involved in the accident, was purchased just recently on January 4, 2024. On January 26, Vladimir Bilevtsev posted a message on social media in memory of his wife.
