On the morning of November 21, wet snow fell in Kyiv. Special equipment from the Kyiv Road Maintenance Company "Kyivavtodor" is already operating in the capital, pre-treating the road surfaces. This was reported by the Kyiv City State Administration.

"In Kyiv, wet snow is falling: the special equipment from Kyivavtodor is already carrying out preventive treatment of the road surface," the statement reads.

The KCSA noted that, according to meteorologists' forecasts, on Thursday, November 21, the capital will be cloudy. Moderate rain and wet snow are expected during the day, with wet snow sticking in some areas and icy conditions on the roads.

"A total of 124 units of special equipment are involved in treating the surfaces with liquid chlorides. We ask drivers to be extremely cautious on the roads, maintain a safe distance, and urge pedestrians to be careful and wear reflectors after dark," the KCSA added.

It is worth mentioning that meteorologist Natalia Ptukha noted that significant precipitation in the form of rain and wet snow is expected in most regions starting from November 21. The rain on this day is expected to transition into wet snow.

A similar forecast for November 21 was provided by Natalka Didenko. She pointed out that on Thursday, November 21, the weather in Ukraine is expected to undergo certain changes due to the passage of an atmospheric front. Rain is expected on this day, gradually shifting to wet snow, with the possibility of heavy precipitation in some areas, wet snow sticking, icy conditions, and the first ice on the roads.
