Over the course of a day, rescuers made 24 calls, ten of which were for fire extinguishment, reported the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.
One of the fires was caused by Russian shelling. In the Izium district, a private house caught fire following enemy strikes.
“Around 7:30 PM, the enemy shelled the village of Borovaya in the Izium district. As a result of the shelling, a house burned over an area of 120 square meters. Rescuers quickly extinguished the fire. There were no casualties or injuries,” the State Emergency Service stated.
Additionally, within the day, rescuers found and neutralized 59 explosive devices, the rescuers added.
