In the Pokrovsk direction, the Defense Forces have achieved successes over the past day. They managed to push back the Russians in the vicinity of Kotlino and regain some lost positions near Zverev. This was reported by blogger and military correspondent Bogdan Miroshnikov.

"Pokrovsk direction. We managed to push the enemy back slightly on the northern outskirts of Kotlino. The movement of the occupiers along the railway from Kotlino to Pokrovsk has been blocked. However, before that, they managed to advance about 1.5 km from the village," he informed.

It is noted that intense battles continue in Udachny, which are "exhausting" for both sides. In Zverev, the Defense Forces were able to restore previously lost positions up to 400 meters deep.

"The overall picture is still very discouraging, but it is beginning to feel that OSUV 'Khortytsia' is in reliable hands," noted Bogdan Miroshnikov.

In the morning report, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated on January 31 that 71 attacks were repelled by Ukrainian defenders in the Pokrovsk direction. The enemy attempted to advance near the settlements of Malinovka, Yelizavetovka, Vodyanoye Vtoroye, Novotoretske, Andriivka, Zverev, Luch, Pokrovsk, Lisovka, Novoukrainka, Udachny, Yasenovo, Shevchenko, and Dachne.

It is worth noting that on January 31, analysts from DeepState reported that the Russian Armed Forces captured the village of Novoandriivka in the Volnovakha district of Donetsk region. At the same time, DeepState highlighted that the Defense Forces regained positions near the village of Udachny in the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk region.

Additionally, it was previously reported that Russians in the Pokrovsk direction are "gladly" surrendering because they know that Ukraine adheres to international norms.
