A 51-year-old resident of Kupiansk is suspected of collaborating with the enemy, writes the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.
According to the investigation, following the city's occupation, the woman voluntarily sought to work for the enemy.
“She took on the role of ‘acting inspector of the migration service department.’ The collaborator accepted documents from individuals for the processing of Russian citizenship and provided relevant consultations,” the prosecutor's office clarified.
For this, the woman received over 40,000 rubles monthly.
“Her choice of ‘work’ was not accidental, as prior to the arrival of the ‘Russian world,’ the woman served as a chief specialist in the local migration service department, giving her experience in this field,” law enforcement noted.
Before the deoccupation, the woman fled to the Russian Federation, and preparations are underway to put her on the wanted list. The probable traitor has already been officially charged, the prosecutor's office added.
