Starting January 1, 2025, financial assistance for internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Ukraine will continue.
According to governmental changes, certain categories of IDPs will begin to receive aid without the need to submit an application. Automatic payments will be provided to the following individuals:
pensioners with a pension amount not exceeding 9444 hryvnias;
individuals with disabilities of the 1st and 2nd groups;
minor children with disabilities;
children with severe illnesses;
youth up to 23 years old who are without parental care;
orphans;
foster parents and guardians.
Amount of IDP payments in 2025
Payments in 2025 will depend on the recipient's category:
Individuals with disabilities and minor children with disabilities will receive 3000 hryvnias each.
Other categories of IDPs, including children with severe illnesses, will receive 2000 hryvnias each.
When can payments be received?
Financial assistance will be disbursed twice a month: on the 15th and 28th of each month.
Who needs to apply for assistance?
Not all IDPs will be able to receive assistance automatically. Therefore, certain categories of citizens should submit an application for the continuation of payments. These individuals include:
Ukrainians with children under 14 years old living in areas of active hostilities or regions with an increased risk of such actions;
parents whose children cannot attend school in person but live in safe locations;
families where one member is caring for an individual with a 1st group disability or a child with a disability or severe illness;
children under 14 years old who have arrived as IDPs without parents;
pregnant women in late stages (from 7.5 months).
Additionally, individuals over 60 years old will be eligible for payments upon application, provided they do not receive a pension and the average income per family member does not exceed 9444 hryvnias.
