Explosions in Kyiv: Russia launched attacks on the capital with "Shaheds," resulting in casualties (photos included).

On the first day of January, Russia launched an attack on Kyiv using strike drones. Debris from the targeted locations was recorded in the Pechersk district of the capital, where a non-residential building caught fire. This was reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration.

According to the KMVA, as a result of the drone strike on Kyiv, debris fell in the Pechersk district of the city. Preliminary assessments indicate that they damaged non-residential structures. There have been no reports of injuries.

At the same time, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko added that air defense systems are operational in the city. As a result of the enemy attack, there is a preliminary report of a fire in a non-residential space in the Pechersk district.

Additionally, there is a fire on the roof and in one of the apartments of a residential building in the Pechersk district. One person has sought medical assistance.

He also mentioned that two upper floors of a residential building in Pechersk have been partially destroyed. All emergency services are working on-site. Currently, one injured person has been hospitalized.

There is information about debris falling on another non-residential building in the Pechersk district.

Furthermore, according to him, a fire has been recorded in the Svyatoshyn district following the attack.

The KMDA wrote that as a result of the Russian drone strike, debris has been observed falling in the Svyashinsky district of the city. Preliminary assessments indicate it fell on a non-residential area. Vehicles and garages were damaged. A local fire has occurred. Information about casualties is being verified.

Later, Vitali Klitschko stated that as a result of the attack, three people were injured, two of whom were hospitalized.

Recall that the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Alexander Prokudin, stated that Russian occupiers have gathered around 300 watercraft in the Kherson direction for crossing the Dnieper.
