The Chief Psychiatrist of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleg Druzh, has found himself at the center of a high-profile investigation that has captured public attention. According to the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), this high-ranking official, who also serves as the Deputy Chairman of the Central Military Medical Commission, is suspected of illegal enrichment exceeding 1 million US dollars.

This information was reported by Glavpost, referencing politexpert.net.

The investigation revealed that during the full-scale war between Russia and Ukraine, the individual acquired several luxury properties. Between 2022 and 2024, he purchased a private house and two plots of land in the Obukhiv district of Kyiv region, two apartments in Kyiv, and one in Odesa. Additionally, the family acquired four expensive vehicles: two models of BMW X7 from different years, a BMW X5, and a BMW X3.

Speaking of high-profile arrests, it is worth noting that just recently Max Nazarov was sent to pre-trial detention for 60 days. Details of the incident are already known.

To conceal his illegal assets, the official registered the properties in the names of his relatives: his wife, children, and trusted individuals. However, this maneuver did not prevent the exposure. During searches, significant amounts of cash were seized from the suspect: 152 thousand dollars and 34 thousand euros.

Currently, the suspect is being prepared for notification of suspicion under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. These are Article 368-5 (illegal enrichment) and Article 366-2 (declaration of inaccurate information). Under the law, the accused could face up to 10 years in prison, and his assets may be confiscated.
