The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, held another meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff. He instructed to increase the production of weapons and expedite their delivery to the front lines.
"I conducted a meeting today. There were many reports. Regarding supplies to the troops — this is our weaponry, all purchases, contracts. Everything is in place. The provisions are there. We need to increase the pace of supplies and we need more of such systems, such weapons that will help save more lives of our soldiers, our people," Zelensky stated.
He also pointed out the necessity for more orders for drones and investments in the development of robotic systems, as well as increased supply of basic weaponry.
"All necessary assignments are in place. Our industry has potential. Countries, particularly in Europe, are ready to work with Ukraine for investments in our arms production. Our diplomats have clear tasks. We need the funds from partners for Ukrainian defense to grow. Specifically, this should be a KPI — key performance indicators for Ukrainian diplomacy," the president emphasized.
Additionally, today Zelensky listened to a report from the military regarding the situation at the front and the staffing of brigades.
"We are preparing new support formats for brigades and staffing of units. I have tasked to present the details to the public next week," the head of state added.
