The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, met with General Keith Kellogg on February 20. During their discussion, Ukraine proposed the fastest path to an agreement with the United States.
"Meeting with General Kellogg. A good conversation with many details. I am grateful to the United States for all the support provided and the bipartisan backing for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people," he wrote.
According to Zelensky, it is crucial for us and for the entire free world that American strength is felt.
"We thoroughly discussed the situation on the battlefield and how to bring back all our captives, as well as effective security guarantees. From the very first second of this war, Ukraine has been striving for peace, and we can and must make peace reliable and lasting so that Russia can never return to war again," he noted.
