The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, stated that Russian leader Vladimir Putin has no intention of stopping the war and is attempting to influence world leaders, including US President Donald Trump, who are seeking to achieve peace.
Zelensky made this remark during his evening address on January 24.
According to the president, the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Oleg Ivashchenko, informed him during a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Staff about Russia's military capabilities and Putin's intentions to continue the hostilities.
Despite this, Zelensky is confident that "no Russian manipulations will succeed any longer."
The meeting also discussed the provision of support for Ukrainian units on the front lines, particularly concerning the supply of weapons and the provision of personnel.
