The U.S. military assistance to Ukraine will not be suspended. This comes after the U.S. State Department's decision to halt foreign aid for 90 days.
This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during a press conference with Moldovan President Maia Sandu.
The head of state pointed out that he is not yet ready to comment on the U.S. State Department's decision, but emphasized that military aid to Ukraine will continue.
"I know there are some restrictions, and we need to look into the details. The 90-day restrictions apply to humanitarian programs. I am aware that there are many institutions worldwide that were previously supported by the U.S. government. I don’t have information about that; I don’t see that funding. I can only say what Ukraine might miss out on, which is my focus. I am concentrated on military assistance, and it has not been halted, thank God," Zelensky stated.
