Earthquake in Poltava: The Emergency Service has provided details.

On the evening of February 1, an earthquake was felt in Poltava. Local media and social media users reported that the ground shook beneath their feet.

“According to the Main Center for Special Monitoring, an earthquake occurred in Poltava region. At 18:21, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.67 struck between Poltava and Reshetylivka. The tremors were recorded at a depth of 3 km,” — confirmed the sensations of local residents by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

Preliminary information indicates that there are no negative consequences from the earthquake. The State Emergency Service has not received any reports of injuries.

Residents have been urged to remain calm.

As a reminder, this morning Poltava experienced a shock: a Russian missile struck a five-story building, destroying an entire entrance. As of 18:40 on February 1, eight fatalities were reported, one of whom was a child.
