A woman spent over $125,000 on dates. Did she find her true love?

38-year-old influencer Susan Mutessi has spent £100,000 ($126,000) on dating in hopes of finding love, only to realize something unexpected in the end. This is reported by writes Daily Star.

The woman claims she invested around £100,000 in dating, including registration in two "elite" apps where one can meet millionaires.

"There were moments when I would stop and think: 'Is this really worth it?'" recalls Susan.

In one of the apps, Susan purchased a three-month opportunity to be listed among "rich, successful, and attractive millionaires." This service cost her $999.

Among Susan's expenses:

  • lingerie for £300;
  • £50,000 on taxis, food, and drinks;
  • regular visits to salons costing from £150 per session (manicure, Brazilian wax, and eyebrow care).

"It's like signing up for a gym — except instead of working out, you're just trying to find someone who is fit enough to handle your fabulousness!" Susan told reporters.

She explained that she doesn't want to squeeze onto public transport on the way to a date, as she wants to arrive relaxed and looking fresh, which is why she spent about £50,000 on taxis, food, and drinks.

"If a man offers to pay, I always agree, because I know how much time, effort, and money went into preparing for the date, so I don’t think it’s unfair if my date pays for dinner," Susan emphasized.

According to her, a single day of beauty rituals can cost £300, and that’s without considering designer outfits.

"Add a pair of heels, and suddenly my budget grows faster than my high hopes for a first date!" explains Susan.

However, after spending thousands of pounds on her glamorous lifestyle, Susan realized she was looking for love in all the wrong places. The truth is, her one true love was closer than she could have imagined — it was herself.

"Amidst the chaos, I discovered a remarkable truth: my most significant relationship is the one I have with myself. To navigate love in the modern world, you need humor and resilience, but behind the outfits, apps, and beauty treatments, the real investment is learning to love yourself," Susan emphasized.
