In occupied Crimea, a Russian tourist threw the famous cat Musya, who had lived in the Lastochkino Gnezdo palace for over 10 years, off the observation deck. This was reported by the Russian media outlet "Fontanka".
The man arrived at the tourist site on the morning of February 23. According to surveillance cameras, he first petted the cat, and when he noticed that no one was watching him, he simply carried the animal to the observation platform and threw it off the 40-meter cliff.
Cat Musya had been living in Lastochkino Gnezdo for more than 10 years and was a local attraction: she always welcomed guests and was not afraid of people.
The authorities have begun searching for the man. His identity has been established. The animal abuser turned out to be a 24-year-old native of St. Petersburg.
He was detained and taken to the Yalta police department.
He did not explain the reason for his actions.
A similar incident previously occurred with store employees in Manchester, who came across a live discovery among the bananas.
