On January 7, the Armed Forces of Ukraine delivered a precise strike on the command post of the 810th Separate Marine Brigade of the Russian Federation in the area of the village of Bilya in the Kursk region. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The General Staff emphasized that such strikes are a crucial component of the combat operations conducted by Ukraine’s Defense Forces on Russian territory.
"The Ukrainian army will utilize all available means to eliminate Russian military formations that pose a threat to the safety of our citizens," the agency stated.
Earlier, on December 25, 2024, Ukrainian forces eliminated the deputy commander of the same 810th brigade along with several Russian military personnel in the city of Lhiv in the Kursk region.
It is known that the 810th Separate Marine Brigade of the Russian Federation is based in the occupied city of Sevastopol, in the area of Kozacha Bay.
