On the night of February 27, Russian Armed Forces attacked the Kyiv region with kamikaze drones. The debris from the attack caused a fire at an industrial facility. This was reported by the press service of State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
"Kyiv region. During the night, in one of the areas of the region, a fire broke out at an industrial site due to the fall of drone debris," the statement said.
It is noted that the fire has already been extinguished. No casualties or injuries were reported.
A total of 81 rescuers and 24 units of equipment were deployed to the scene.
Meanwhile, in Kyiv on the night of February 27, numerous explosions were heard. Russian drones once again attempted to attack the capital. According to available information, at least one drone was detected in the Brovary area.
"Air defense forces are engaged with enemy drones in the capital. Stay in shelters!" — wrote Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, urging residents to follow safety protocols until the air raid alert is lifted.
It is worth noting that Ukrainian air defense forces are shooting down Russian "Shaheds" using drones. Now "Shaheds" are also being intercepted with FPV drones.
