An unemployed man, known online as Sudden Fantasy, shared that he lives entirely on his wife's support. He began posting his viral videos about a month ago and has already amassed over 1.4 million followers on the popular social media platform Douyin.
The video creator admitted that he moved from China to Japan about eight years ago and started dating his future wife, Fenghua. During that time, he was going through difficult moments, and his beloved was always there to provide financial assistance, particularly for food and tuition fees.
Fenghua is well-educated and comes from a wealthy family, enabling her to support her husband. The Chinese man tells his followers that he fully accepted his situation last year when he quit his job and began to rely entirely on his wife as the breadwinner of their family. While she covers all the bills and expenses, he stays at home, plays video games, and ensures her comfort.
Recently, the blogger revealed that his wife gives him 260,000 yen (approximately $1750) for daily expenses. To show his gratitude for her generosity, he tries to express his affection, care, and love in various ways. For instance, on weekends, he wakes up around 7 AM but lounges in bed until noon when Fenghua wakes up, then stays next to her while she uses her phone until 3 PM.
Sudden Fantasy also engages in "small acts of love," such as letting his wife go to the bathroom first to avoid her irritation over a wet floor.
"A good mood can be ruined in an instant. That's why I check the bathroom before she uses it," he says.
The man believes that the secret to a perfect relationship lies in finding balance and living in harmony with one's partner, as the desire to please the other is doomed to fail in the long run.
Although in Japan, the man is typically seen as the breadwinner and head of the family, society does not approve of "dependents"; however, Sudden Fantasy's relatives have accepted his role.
In contrast, 27-year-old Megan Clark from the Isle of Wight (UK) unexpectedly discovered two months before her wedding that the entire biography of her fiancé, "Lord" Bertie Underwood, was actually a complete fabrication.
