In Russia, in the Nizhny Novgorod region, an attack by drones from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine occurred on the night of January 29. They targeted the "Lukoil" oil depot in the city of Kstovo. The operation was successful. This is reported by "Babel," citing its sources in intelligence.

Although local residents reported three explosions, the GUR noted that all four drones reached their target and hit the factory premises.

The oil depot in Kstovo has been assisting Russia in its war against Ukraine. According to Russian media, residents of the city complained about the drones. Additionally, there were reports on Russian networks regarding the operation of air defense systems in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

Later, footage emerged online showing a fire, allegedly on the territory of the "Lukoil — Nizhny Novgorodnefteorgsintez" oil depot, located in Kstovo.

The head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation of the NSDC, Andriy Kovalenko, reported that the oil refinery in Kstovo, which was attacked, is capable of processing between 15 to 17 million tons of oil per year.

"It can be considered the fourth largest in Russia. It produces gasoline, diesel, aviation kerosene, and bitumen. It is important for the Russian army," he wrote.

Let us recall that on the night of January 29, an attack occurred on the oil refinery in the Nizhny Novgorod region of the Russian Federation. Local authorities reported "debris falling" and no casualties. A large fire was shown online.

It was also reported that Russia was preparing a strike on the location of F-16s, with assistance from residents of Kremenchuk. Near each of the targets, they planned to rent housing to spy close to the "target" for several days.
