According to data from the State Emergency Service in the Kharkiv region, seven fires occurred in Kharkiv Oblast within a day, one of which was due to enemy shelling.

“On the night of February 19, as a result of an enemy strike on the residential sector in the city of Kupiansk, a building caught fire over an area of 150 square meters. No information about casualties has been received. The State Emergency Service deployed 2 units of equipment and 7 personnel,” the rescuers reported.

Additionally, the day before at 21:40, a report was received that four people in the village of Kehychevka in the Berestivskyi district were poisoned by carbon monoxide. Among them were two children born in 2010 and 2012. All the victims were hospitalized. Preliminary information indicates that the incident occurred due to a malfunction in the chimney of the gas water heater, the State Emergency Service clarified.

“Employees of the State Emergency Service were also involved in surveying the area after shelling in the village of Borovaya in the Izyum district. As a result of the impact of a cluster munition, 8 private houses, outbuildings, and a garage were damaged. There were no casualties,” the firefighters stated.
