On the morning of February 26, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov, informed about enemy strikes in the Kharkiv region.
The day before, the enemy periodically shelled the Bohodukhiv district. At 11:46, an impact from a KAB was recorded in Zolochiv – as a result of the strike, high-rise buildings and vehicles were damaged, and a woman was injured. A repeat strike on the village occurred at 12:35 – another woman was wounded and was hospitalized.
“13:30 Chuhuiv district, Volchanska community, on the road between the villages of Bilyi Kolodets and Karaiichne. As a result of shelling from multiple rocket launchers, a passenger car was damaged. A man was killed, and another sustained injuries,” – wrote the head of the Regional Military Administration.
Half an hour later, strikes were reported in the Kupiansk region – in the village of Kutkovka, a 55-year-old man was injured due to an FPV drone strike. Following that, throughout the evening, Russians intermittently terrorized the Bohodukhiv and Kupiansk districts. Homes and outbuildings were destroyed, and vehicles were damaged due to the strikes.
Additionally, Synegubov reminded that during the night, the occupiers attacked Kharkiv.
“As a result of debris from the Shahed drone, apartment buildings, a university, theater premises, and a café were damaged. A fire broke out in a 9-story building; two women aged 40 and 86 experienced acute stress reactions, while five others were rescued. The sidewalk and the trolleybus contact network were also damaged,” – added Synegubov.
