On the fires that occurred within a day, information was provided on the morning of March 3 by the regional department of the State Emergency Service in Kharkiv Oblast.

In total, there were seven fires in Kharkiv Oblast over the course of the day, one of which was caused by shelling from Russian forces. This refers to the evening strike on Kharkiv.

“As a result of the drone attack, there was partial destruction of a five-story residential building, as well as a fire on the roof and in the apartments on the upper floors. Five people were rescued. The fire, covering an area of 80 square meters, has been extinguished. A total of 54 rescuers and 12 units of equipment were on site. Psychologists provided assistance to the victims. A canine unit from the State Emergency Service was also involved,” the rescuers specified.

Preliminarily, eight people were injured, including one child. Firefighters also inspected the sites of the "strikes" in the Bohodukhiv and Lozova districts.

“As a result of a hit (preliminarily from a KAB) in an open area in the village of Dolzhik in the Bohodukhiv district, two warehouse facilities, four private houses, and electrical networks were damaged. Injured were: a woman born in 1960 and a boy born in 2010. They were hospitalized,” the State Emergency Service added.
