Over the course of a day, rescuers extinguished 11 fires, one of which was caused by shelling from the Russian Federation, reports the regional emergency management office in Kharkiv Oblast.

In the night, at 02:18, a fatal fire occurred in the village of Snezhkov in the Bohodukhiv district.

“In a two-story house on the second floor, a bed and household items were burning in a living room covering an area of 2 square meters. In the fire's epicenter, firefighters discovered the body of a 59-year-old man. The cause of the fire is under investigation,” the emergency service reported.

Additionally, rescuers reminded that the previous day, a utility building was ablaze in Kupiansk-Uzlovy due to an enemy airstrike. Two people were injured.

“Rescuers were also involved in surveying the area following the shelling of the village of Bolshoy Burluk in the Kupiansk district,” the firefighters added.
