The situation regarding the fires in the Kharkiv region was detailed in the morning summary on January 3 by the press service of the State Emergency Service in Kharkiv Oblast.
Throughout the day, rescuers responded to ten fires. One of these was caused by enemy shelling.
“During the day, the enemy struck the village of Borovaya in the Izium district. As a result of the shelling, structural elements of a building were on fire over an area of 5 square meters. An educational institution, a music school, non-residential buildings, and private properties were also damaged. Rescuers promptly extinguished the fire. There were no casualties or injuries,” the rescuers reported.
Additionally, over the course of the day, pyrotechnics discovered and neutralized 89 explosive devices.
