Kupiansk under fire: Synegubov reported a man has died (photo).

The village of Kovsharovka in the Kupiansk district was struck by enemy fire at 10:50, reports Oleg Synegubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.

A 74-year-old civilian man died from his injuries.

Photos from Kovsharovka were provided by the regional prosecutor's office. An apartment building was damaged in the village.

A pre-trial investigation has been initiated regarding the war crime that led to the loss of life (Part 2, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

As reported, two civilians were injured as a result of shelling in the Kharkiv region on January 3. In particular, a 56-year-old man sustained blast injuries in the village of Zapadne in the Kupiansk district. Russian military forces fired from tanks and used drones over the past day.
