Massive shelling in Kharkiv: images from the drone strike sites show the aftermath, with 12 people reported injured.

At least nine hits from enemy drones were recorded in Kharkiv. Preliminary reports indicate that the Russians used drones of the "Shahed" and "Geran" types for the nighttime attack.

Updated at 11:20. At least 75 buildings were damaged in the Shevchenkivskyi, Kyivskyi, and Novobavarskyi districts as a result of the nighttime drone attack, reported the Kharkiv City Council.

“In particular, over a thousand windows were shattered. A preliminary assessment is ongoing. As of 10:00, utility workers have closed 349 windows in apartments and 21 in entrances. Repair crews are working continuously to close all broken windows as quickly as possible,” the city administration noted.

Utility workers are also clearing broken glass, large debris near damaged buildings, and removing fallen branches from the area.

Updated at 09:16. The number of injured as a result of the nighttime drone attack on Kharkiv has risen to 12. Among them are two children, reported the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.
The enemy struck three districts of Kharkiv on the night of March 1:

Shevchenkivskyi District – a drone hit an arch near a high-rise building. A 6-year-old girl experienced an acute stress reaction. Another strike hit a medical facility in the city center. Four women – patients – were injured. One of the drones landed on the roadway near a car dealership and a residential complex. An attack was also recorded on the territory of a gardening society.

Kyivskyi District – a drone struck an inactive office building that had already suffered from previous strikes. Another drone hit a two-story commercial property. High-rises, pharmacies, cafes, and shops were damaged. A woman experienced an acute stress reaction. A man and a 6-year-old boy sustained injuries from glass, and another man hit his head during the explosion. Law enforcement also recorded a drone strike on a gas station. Three employees received medical assistance: they were diagnosed with acute stress reactions.

Novobavarskyi District – a drone hit a private house. There was no one inside. The shockwave damaged a printing house.

06:44. As reported by the spokesperson of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, Dmytro Chubenko, the strikes affected the Novobavarskyi, Kyivskyi, and Shevchenkivskyi districts of the city. Seven injured individuals have been reported.

“Among them is one child, a 6-year-old boy, who has non-life-threatening injuries and an acute stress reaction. Among all the other injured, there are five women and one man. Four of the injured are experiencing acute stress reactions, while the others have non-life-threatening bodily injuries and blast trauma,” law enforcement officials reported.

In the Shevchenkivskyi district, there were two hits in different locations near high-rise buildings. The facades of these buildings were damaged, and hundreds of windows were shattered. Additionally, there was a strike near one of the major hospitals, leading to the evacuation of dozens of patients.

“There was also a hit on a private residential house in this district. In the Kyivskyi district – a hit on an inactive office building and a gas station. In the Novobavarskyi district – a hit on a single-story building,” the prosecutor's office reported.

Investigators have opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

According to data from the Main Department of the State Emergency Service in the Kharkiv region, four fire outbreaks occurred in the city as a result of the strikes.

“One of the drones hit a three-story medical facility, causing a fire on the roof. With the joint efforts of rescuers, police, medics, and volunteers, 64 people were evacuated, including 56 patients and a child,” the rescuers informed.

Recall that from 23:00 explosions were heard in Kharkiv — the Russian army attacked with drones. Strikes were recorded in three districts of the city — Shevchenkivskyi, Kyivskyi, and Novobavarskyi. The impacts occurred near high-rise residential buildings, in commercial properties, and near one of the major hospitals. A gas station was also damaged, as reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office. Seven injured individuals have been reported, said Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
