During the night, enemy drones were shot down in the Kharkiv region.

On the night of January 4 (from 7:00 PM on January 3), Russians launched an attack on Ukraine with 81 drones, including Shahed.

As reported by the command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, air defense systems shot down 34 drones in the Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, and Mykolaiv regions.

The remaining 47 drones were lost locally — without any negative consequences. However, the downed drones caused damage to private homes in Chernihiv and Sumy regions. Assistance is being provided to those affected.
