“I am going as a medic to assist 'Charter', the medical service of 'Charter'. This is, God forbid, not a chief medical officer. This is an ordinary medic. Based on the VLK, I cannot be directly in the combat zone, that is, on the front line. And perhaps that is right, but I can be very useful to the medical service as a whole, and it is an honor for me,” said Paevskaya.
She also explained her choice and revealed a secret about what writer Serhiy Zhadan is doing in the brigade.

A rapid response bus appears in Kharkiv
A "rapid response bus," designed to assist those affected by shelling, has begun operations in Kharkiv. Its first outing occurred on the evening of December 20, when the enemy attacked the Saltivskyi district with a drone,” reported the press service of the Kharkiv City Council.

“At 21:39, the Russians launched a drone strike of the 'Shahed' type on the Saltivskyi district of Kharkiv. The impact was between the first and second floors of a nine-story residential building. As of midnight, there are six injured individuals. Five have acute stress reactions, and one 12-year-old girl has a laceration on her foot. Rescue operations have concluded, and no one has been found under the rubble. Several people were evacuated immediately after the drone hit this building,” said Dmitry Chubenko, spokesperson for the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.
The second "Shahed" struck the Kyiv district — near residential buildings. A fire broke out at the site.
“The drone itself hit a tree, so civilian constructions were not significantly damaged. However, about a dozen houses sustained facade damage, and windows were shattered. As of now, two individuals have sought medical attention for acute stress reactions, including one elderly woman,” reported Chubenko.
Another drone struck a civilian enterprise in Solonitsevka — with no casualties.

Closer to midnight, another drone fell in the Kyiv district of Kharkiv. A fire broke out in a private house. Two people were injured.
Additionally, a drone strike was recorded in the region — in the Solonitsevka community of the Kharkiv district. A fire occurred in an uninhabited building. No casualties were reported.
