Ukrainian defenders eliminated more than a hundred Russian occupiers in the Kharkiv direction, report the OGV "Kharkiv".
“In the past 24 hours, there were seven combat clashes with Russian invaders near Volchansk and Staritsa. Russian occupiers launched 81 strikes with kamikaze drones and conducted 502 shellings of Ukrainian defenders' positions. The defense forces continue to effectively destroy the manpower, weapons, and military equipment of the Russian occupiers,” the Armed Forces of Ukraine state.
Over the course of the day, the Defense Forces eliminated 123 soldiers of the RF Armed Forces: 65 killed and 58 wounded. Additionally, in the Kharkiv direction, Russians lost 73 units of weaponry and special equipment in a day: two artillery systems, eight vehicles, 54 UAVs, as well as 81 shelters, an ammunition storage site, and a drone launch pad.
As reported by the GBR, those wishing to avoid service were offered to officially transfer their registration to a TCC subordinate to the figures involved, supposedly due to a change of residence.
“For this, there was no need to go to the recruitment office, as all documents were filled out without the presence of the ‘client’. Subsequently, men were issued summonses every month, which allowed them to move freely around the city,” the law enforcement officials explained.
For such a "service," the conscript was required to pay 70 thousand hryvnias, the GBR added.
Currently, law enforcement has detained the alleged intermediary, who was sent by the organizers of the deal to collect money from another evader. He has been notified of suspicion.
Moreover, law enforcement is now checking the actions of TCC employees, including the management level.
As reported by the Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office, the suspects are Kharkiv residents who are in a relationship. It has been established that the 24-year-old woman and the 38-year-old man have a criminal past.
“In December 2024, they established regular contact with a representative of the Russian Federation. They communicated via Telegram. The Russian curator offered the suspects a reward for documenting the locations of Ukrainian military personnel as well as the residences of SBU employees, to which they voluntarily agreed,” law enforcement stated.
The SBU added that the suspects roamed the streets of Kharkiv, covertly documenting the locations of Defense Forces bases, and then sent reports to the occupiers in the form of photos and geolocations of the sites.
The young woman had another “job,” noted the prosecutor's office, as she distributed “stash” drugs throughout Kharkiv.
The young man and woman have been notified of suspicion. They are currently in custody without the right to bail.
