The shelling began the day before in the morning when the Russians struck ZlatoPol with a "Shahed". After that, the enemy started terrorizing the Kupiansk region.

“13:45 Kupiansk district, Kondrashivska community, village of Kondrashivka. As a result of the shelling, a 61-year-old woman was injured and hospitalized. 14:40 Kupiansk district, city of Kupiansk. Due to the fall of an FPV drone, a storage facility of a civilian enterprise was damaged,” – wrote the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.

During the night, the Russian Armed Forces attacked Kharkiv, resulting in destruction, fires, and casualties.

“On January 28 at around 00:35 in Kharkiv, Novobavar district. As a result of a strike by a Shahed-type UAV, a gas pipe and five vehicles were damaged. Two people experienced acute stress reactions: a 59-year-old woman and a 9-year-old girl. On January 28 at 03:07 in Kharkiv, Kyiv district. As a result of a downed UAV in an open area, debris from a Geran-2 UAV was found,” – clarified Synehubov.

By morning, the region was also affected. At 04:13, “arrivals” were recorded in the Chuhuiv district – in the village of Shestakovo, a private house was on fire due to a strike from a Geran-2 UAV.

“04:13 Kharkiv district, Rogan community. As a result of the fall of a Shahed UAV, four private houses were damaged. Two people were injured: a 62-year-old woman and a 66-year-old man. The woman was hospitalized in a medical facility,” – added Synehubov.
