An enemy drone struck a nine-story building in the Saltivskyi district of Kharkiv at 21:40 on December 20. Six people are reported to be injured.
Updated at 00:25. The fire in the nine-story building has been extinguished. The facade and apartments on the lower floors sustained damage. Six individuals were injured, including a 12-year-old girl. Emergency responders rescued three, report the State Emergency Service.
As clarified by the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleg Synegubov, five out of the six injured have acute stress reactions. The girl reportedly has a minor shrapnel wound.

“The strike hit the first floor of the residential building. Several apartments were destroyed, and the heating, water supply, and electricity communications were damaged. Our utility companies are currently working on restoration. There are many broken windows,” said Mayor Igor Terekhov at the site of the impact.

Updated at 22:30. The number of injured has risen to four, including a 12-year-old girl.
“Three individuals are suffering from acute stress reactions. The girl has a minor shrapnel wound. Firefighting efforts continue on the first and second floors. The area of the fire is 30 square meters. The building is being inspected, and arrangements are being made for the relocation of residents,” reports Oleg Synegubov.
22:06. Mayor Igor Terekhov informed about the strike by a "Shahed" drone on a residential building in the Saltivskyi district.
“The impact occurred between the first and second floors of the high-rise building. There is a fire on site,” specified Terekhov.
According to the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleg Synegubov, the drone hit the nine-story building. There is damage to the first two floors.
Two people sought medical attention for acute stress reactions, reported Synegubov.
