Rescue teams received reports of a fire at a private residence in the settlement of Bely Kolodets on February 28 at 08:39, reported the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.
According to their information, a residential house was burning with an area of 40 square meters.
“A man born in 1987 died in the fire. The fire was extinguished at 13:20. The cause of the fire is being investigated,” the State Emergency Service noted.
Six rescuers in a fire truck, a medical team from the State Emergency Service, and the local fire brigade from the settlement of Vilcha fought the blaze.
As a reminder, in the morning, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region reported that over the course of a day, rescuers had 28 emergency responses, 16 of which were for extinguishing fires. Three of the fires, the State Emergency Service clarified, were caused by Russian shelling. Fires occurred in the Kupiansk, Kharkiv, and Izium districts.
