The bodies of two women were discovered under the rubble in Kupiansk (update).

The number of victims in Kupiansk has increased due to a massive aerial bombardment of the city, reported the Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office.

Updated at 10:59. Head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleg Synegubov, clarified that the enemy used FAB-500 bombs on Kupiansk at 14:18 the day before.

“The bodies of two deceased women, aged 95 and 62, have been recovered from the rubble,” the prosecutor's office stated.

Recall that the Russians began shelling Kupiansk the previous day, as reported by Oleg Synegubov. He specified that the enemy was using KAB bombs – private homes and power lines were damaged. In the evening, rescuers found an 86-year-old victim in a damaged house – the woman sustained blast injuries and a fracture, and she was hospitalized. The emergency services could not continue clearing the debris due to ongoing shelling.
