A man was poisoned by carbon monoxide during a fire in Kharkiv, according to details from the State Emergency Service.

However, at 18:36, there was a domestic fire in an abandoned building in the Novobavar district of Kharkiv.

“The area of the fire was 50 square meters. During firefighting operations, rescuers saved a 67-year-old man who suffered from carbon monoxide poisoning and was hospitalized. The cause of the fire is under investigation,” – the State Emergency Service added.

Additionally, pyrotechnicians discovered and neutralized 11 explosive devices.
